Our Mission
Beyond A Step exists to provide first responders, last responders, and veterans with access to mental health, physical health, and nutritional wellness resources. We believe that those who serve our communities deserve comprehensive support to heal and thrive.
Founded in 2021, we have grown to serve the Northwest Arkansas community, connecting heroes with the resources they need while ensuring complete confidentiality.
Why We Exist
First responders and veterans face unique challenges. The trauma of service, the stigma around seeking help, and the barriers to accessing care can prevent heroes from getting the support they need.
Beyond A Step removes these barriers by providing confidential access to licensed counselors, physical wellness programs, and nutritional resources—all at no cost to the applicant.

Heroes Behind The Line
We partner with Heroes Behind The Line to provide licensed mental health counseling services. All mental health applications are forwarded confidentially to their team of professionals who specialize in first responder and veteran care.
